All about us

Welcome to Wonersh and Shamley Green Primary School

A Learning Adventure with Kindness

Nestled in the beautiful Surrey Hills, Wonersh and Shamley Green Church of England Primary School offers a safe and inspiring learning environment for children in our community. With a rich history dating back to 1683 and stunning grounds to explore, including our own woodlands, we see learning as an exciting adventure for all.

Our Vision and Values

  • We foster a distinctly Christian environment where children and staff feel happy, valued, and empowered as independent, confident, and creative learners.
  • Kindness is at the heart of all we do. We guide our children to embrace challenges, learn from experiences, and celebrate each other's achievements along the way.
  • Our curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. From our vibrant classrooms to our outdoor spaces, we inspire awe and wonder throughout the school day.

Promoting British Values

As a Church of England school, we weave the values of friendship, respect, and inclusivity into our daily school life. We promote democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. By engaging with our local and global communities, we help our children understand their roles as responsible citizens.
