Uganda

From 2019, we have been part of a Connecting Classrooms project which is organised by the British Council.

Our children have shared stories with children in Uganda and we have watched and read stories created by both Primary and Secondary age children in Uganda.  During the pandemic, we shared lockdown experiences and compared our experience of the pandemic with children living in Uganda.

We are currently learning about how our partner schools in Uganda take action against climate change and are sharing with them what we do.  We have shared how we recycle rubbish and compost some of our waste.  Our Eco Council has met remotely with Ugandan schools' Eco councils to compare what we do to look after our world that we share.
